6 Nations DBA Cancelled

Posted by portsmouthwargames on September 25, 2010

The Six Nations DBA was inaugurated as an event on the day before the English Open so that those who had to travel a distance for the latter had a reason to make a weekend of it.

The French are unable to attend this year and we’ve heard nothing about a possible Italian team. Many of the more local gamers have already told us, or posted on various sites, that they can’t make the Saturday, but intend to be there on the Sunday.

We are brought to the conclusion that attendance on the Saturday would probably be 10 or less gamers and therefore it has been decided that the Six Nations DBA competition will not be held this year.

The Open will of course proceed as normal on the Sunday, 9am registration for a 9.30 am first game. See you all on the Sunday.
