PAWS “Very Wintery” DBA weather latest

Posted by portsmouthwargames on December 2, 2010

We had 3 or 4 inches of snow overnight (Wednesday night/Thursday morning). After shoveling the snow off the car, I drove to work in Portsmouth this morning (Thursday). It snowed lightly most of the day but only another cm or less settled. The major roads are clear, the better side roads pretty good (compacted snow or slush, depending on usage) but I don’t know exactly what it is like around the Community Centre.

If it doesn’t get any worse (and assuming the Community Centre doesn’t call Adrian to say they are closed), I think we will be OK for Saturday at our end. If anyone wants a last minute update Saturday morning, send me an email (by clicking the Paw/6 symbol to the right) with a mobile number and I will send a text if we postpone or cancel.
