PAWS has its own .io Group, PAWSlist.

We use it as an announcement and contact mailing list for the Portsmouth and Allied Wargames Society. Members can also use it to make requests for games and opponents.

Where do we play?

We have now completely moved out of the Stacey Centre in Southsea. We have moved all of the club’s assets to Fort Cumberland in the the Forgotten Veterans UK facility. We are still getting ourselves sorted out there, but we have use of a good sized room that has only recently been redecorated.

How to get in:

When you arrive at the main gate to the Fort there is an intercom system. Tell them that you are with Forgotten Veterans.

On driving through the gate follow the road, which takes a 90 degree right turn then a 90 degree left turn around the fort then another 90 degree left turn leading to a double arch entry to the main fort.

Once through this fort entryway, turn right immediately and about 30 yards you come to the parking area for the Forgotten Veterans.

The first casement is their reception, the next is a lounge with a pool table and the third is where we are and has some tables. It is used as a model making room. At the back of the casements the corridors has some armchairs and also a kitchen where we can make drinks and there is an honour tuck shop.

Google Maps directions from the A27 are available here.
